Sync, export and backup

#iCloud sync

With Cloud Sync on, RooQi stores your synced library in your iCloud private database through Apple CloudKit and moves it between your devices. Sync can include notes, handwriting, mind maps, recordings, attachments and AI results.

• The status line shows states such as Connecting to iCloud and Connected to iCloud.
• Being connected doesn’t mean everything has finished syncing. Keep RooQi open and online for a while, then check again.
• Use Add to iCloud… to move a local item into the synced library.

#Sync and AI are separate

Turning on iCloud sync never sends anything to AI services, and subscribing to RooQi AI never syncs your library.

#Export and backup

Choose Export and Backup or the Export… menu on an item:

• Export RooQi Package — everything in a document, including original audio, attachments and history.
• Export PDF, Export Text…, Export Audio… for individual formats.

Your device’s system backup may also include RooQi data according to your Apple settings.
