RooQi for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Turn notes into understanding.

Write by hand, record what you hear, bring in PDFs — RooQi keeps it in one place so you can come back, connect it and ask about it.

Why we write things down

A mark outlives the moment.

Writing turns a thought into something we can return to.

Illustration with sample content — not a screenshot. Real screens are shown further down.

Animated introduction: a single mark travels from a rock wall through clay, papyrus, hide, oracle bone, paper and print to a screen, and becomes a stroke in RooQi.

How it works

From a mark to meaning, in three moves.

01 · Capture

Write, record, import — without switching apps.

Take handwritten notes with your pen or finger, type alongside them, record a lecture or meeting, and import PDFs, images or existing audio into the same project.

  • Handwriting and typed text on the same page
  • Recordings with on-device transcription
  • Import PDF, audio or images

02 · Organize

Give every idea a place to grow.

Group notes, canvases, PDFs and recordings into projects. Highlight and annotate PDFs, sketch a mind map, and export when you need to share.

  • Projects, notes and canvases
  • PDF highlights and annotations
  • Mind maps and exports

03 · Understand

Come back, and ask.

With the optional RooQi AI subscription you can ask about a note, a page or a recording, and turn a recording’s transcript into minutes — with sources you can check.

  • Ask About This Note
  • Minutes from recordings
  • Answers you can trace back

AI features are optional and only send what a request needs.

Real interface

Made to feel like your own learning space.

Screens from RooQi’s welcome flow on iPad and Mac. Choose a background, keep pages clear, and start from a question of your own.

Everywhere you think

One library across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

iPhone

Capture on the go: record, jot, and look things up.

iPad

A full page for handwriting, PDFs and canvases.

Mac

A desk-sized workspace, keyboard shortcuts and developer connections.

Optional iCloud sync keeps your library together. No RooQi account required.

Your notes, your choice

Stored on your device first.

On device by default

Notes, handwriting, files and recordings are saved on your device. You don’t need a RooQi account.

Sync is separate from AI

iCloud sync and cloud AI are two independent choices. Turning on one never turns on the other.

Only what a request needs

Cloud AI receives only the content needed for the request you submit. Subscribing never sends your whole library automatically.

Let your tools talk to RooQi on Mac.

RooQi for Mac includes a local MCP server and a command-line bridge. Every connection is approved in a native window and lasts 15 minutes. Writes only add new notes, text or PDF annotations — existing text and original PDFs are never replaced.
