## Take notes in a lecture

1. Create a project for the course and **Import PDF** with the slides.
2. When the lecture starts, choose **New Recording**. Optionally turn on **Generate Minutes When Finished** (subscription).
3. Annotate the slides with the pen and **Highlighter** while you listen.
4. After class, review the transcript, **Correct Transcript** where needed, and generate minutes (subscription).
5. Use **Ask About This Note** to check what you didn’t understand (subscription).

## Summarise a meeting

1. Start **New Recording** at the beginning of the meeting.
2. Jot decisions by hand or type them as they happen.
3. Afterwards, check **speakers** and rename them; keep regular attendees as **Frequent Speakers**.
4. Choose **Generate Minutes…** (subscription). Edit the result; regenerate later without losing the earlier version.
5. Export the minutes with **Export Text…** or **Export PDF** to share.

## Read and research

1. Import the papers or book chapters into one project.
2. Highlight passages and write margin notes; use the **Highlights and Annotations** list to revisit them.
3. Build a **mind map** of the argument on the facing page.
4. Use **Ask Across Multiple Materials** to compare sources (subscription), and follow the references it gives you back to the text.
